RAW Cinema
Adopting a workflow similar to that used in Hollywood productions and independent films, sr RAW facilitates unprocessed recording akin to professional hardware camera systems that often come with significantly higher price tags. The unprocessed nature of sr RAW recordings allows for non-destructive editing; filmmakers can alter key image characteristics during post-production using industry-leading editing and color grading tools. This flexibility provides users with the creative freedom to manipulate attributes such as:

• LUTs, grain, and other enhancements can be efficiently applied as well

sr RAW encodes in the standard CinemaDNG (cDNG) RAW format while concurrently recording uncompressed stereo WAV audio and creating a small H265 proxy file for convenient field checks. The initial version supports resolutions up to 1080p at frame rates of 24/25 fps. A 1TB iPhone can accommodate approximately four hours of 1080p footage. To transfer files, users simply connect their iPhone via USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 for efficient transfer from the Files app to a computer, followed by importation into preferred non-linear editing (NLE) or color grading software.

AUTO AND MANUAL FOCUS
The sr RAW application includes AUTO FOCUS functionality in Camera Preview mode. During recording (REC mode), users can swiftly switch to Manual Focus utilizing the distinctive Focus Control Ring.

CINEMA CAMERA SETTINGS
With a design that marries elegance and functionality, sr RAW offers an intuitive interface that facilitates rapid mobile phone production while ensuring maximal data retention for editing and color grading in its advanced RAW Cinema capture engine. Users can quickly select resolution, frame rate, lens type, and composition before initiating recording. Automatic settings for exposure and white balance are available but can be modified later in post-production.
